Ann Matkins

Author of Celestial Ambulance

Ann has a deep love of books of all genres and “…an insatiable desire to give in to the compulsion to make up stories and be original.” Her own personal and mystical experiences led to thoughts of Celestial Ambulance, although it was the death of a friend that kick-started the book in his honour. She never faltered from there. “We must write what gives us joy in the writing.” She lives in the magical town of Glastonbury, England.

Christopher J Pine

Author of Pathways of the Druids

As a boy, Christopher really enjoyed reading exciting adventure stories of all types so he decided to try and write one himself for others to enjoy. He has been brilliantly successful. A Londoner, he freely admits that his education was basic. “However,” he says, “real education begins when you leave school and realise what life is about.” While doing whatever was necessary to make a living, his spare time was spent studying the ancient cultures of the Greeks, Romans and Celts, beautifully described in Pathways of the Druids. Christopher is living proof that we can achieve whatever we want once we put our minds to it; he is a true inspiration for all new writers.

Lennart Svensson

Author of Redeeming Lucifer

Lennart Svensson is a Swedish academic living in Härnösand on the northern Swedish coast. He grew up in a virtual wilderness of wooded hills and farmland, listening to his grandmother telling fairy-tales of old. Later, he cherished the stories of modern fantasy writers. Thus was born Redeeming Lucifer, his debut novel in English.

He has a BA in Indology, and enjoys cooking and reading classics. Lennart has published prose works in Swedish, notably his first novel, Antropolis (Etherion Forlag, 2009), a spiritual vision of the future, while in English he has published Borderline – A Traditionalist Outlook for Modern Man (Numen Books, 2015), a clarion call for idealism in this modern age of materialism. His first ever fiction in English was the story The Middle Zone, published in Morpheus Tales: The Best Weird Fiction, Volume 3 (2013).

Since 2007 Lennart has been blogging at The Svensson Galaxy.

Nigel Peace

Author of 51GN5 0F L1F3, Broken Sea, Blood

With degrees in science and philosophy, Nigel has been an engineer, tour guide in Cold War Russia, social worker and Mathematics teacher, all while studying parapsychology on the side – a life of eclectic experience in both real and paranormal worlds. A rationalist, “I often feel offended by New Age and religious dogma alike. If we survive death, surely we are still just as irritating, pompous and stupid as we were before?” SIGNS OF LIFE sets out to show that Heaven may be uncomfortably, hilariously, rather like Earth. “There is SEx in this book, but not as you know it…”

Nigel’s latest novel BROKEN SEA is a dramatic love story set against the backdrop of the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968. Two young people struggle to keep their relationship alive as a young nation also fights for its own identity, all in the face of the intolerance of just about everyone around. At every turn, life-changing decisions must be made. Dear Reader, what would you have done…?

NEW! Listen to an in-depth interview with Nigel about his writing career, the true life events of the `Sixties and why they are relevant for us all today: http://www.blogtalkradio.com

Love never shapes up quite as we expect, does it? BLOOD is a collection of short stories set at the extreme and dark edges of those shapes. These are definitely not cosy romances. The book is illustrated by colour images of Nigel’s paintings.
